Dreame is expanding its wet-dry vacuum lineup with the T16 Pro CarpetFlex, part of the T16 steam range that was previewed at IFA 2026. As the name suggests, it is aimed squarely at homes with carpet — pairing wet-dry cleaning with steam sanitising in a single machine.
The family already has a local foothold: the sibling T16 Pro TriForce is on sale in Australia, and it brings 200°C steam plus a foam-cleaning system that pre-treats stubborn marks before the mop pad goes over them. The CarpetFlex is expected to build on that recipe with a carpet-focused design.
Dreame has said the T16 Pro CarpetFlex and the wider T16 Ultra Series are expected to eventually join the ANZ range, but there is no firm date yet — late 2026 is the working expectation rather than a promise.
This is one to watch if you have carpet and like the idea of steam sanitising built into your wet-dry vac. If you cannot wait, the T16 Pro TriForce is already here and covers much of the same ground.
