Mova Mobius 60 Australia: $1,999 flagship

The Mova Mobius 60 is $1,999 in Australia — and it’s the first robot vacuum whose dock swaps its own mop pads. Before anything else, a correction to some early coverage: the Mobius 60 launched globally on 21 October 2025 (not October 2026), and it went on to win a CES 2026 Innovation Award. It’s on sale in Australia right now through Domayne and Mova’s own AU online store.

That award matters. CES Innovation Awards aren’t handed out for incremental spec bumps — the Mobius 60 won because the MopSwap system is a genuine first. No other robot vacuum, from any brand, automatically changes its own mopping pads mid-clean. If you’ve been waiting for robot mops to get smarter rather than just stronger, this is the one to watch.

What’s new: the MopSwap Hub

The headline feature is the MopSwap Hub. The base station stores three specialised mop pads and automatically installs the right pad for each room or zone: ThermoHold for kitchen grease, Plush for delicate wood floors, and HyperClean for everyday dust. It’s an industry-first multi-pad swapping system — and the pads are washed and dried between zones, so kitchen grease never gets dragged across the bedroom floor.

Think about what that means in practice. A standard robot vacuum mops your kitchen — grease, food residue and all — then carries that same damp pad across your timber living room and into the bedrooms. The Mobius 60 instead returns to its dock, swaps to the right pad for the next zone, and keeps going. The pads are washed and dried between swaps, so each room gets a fresh, appropriate pad. It’s the first time a robovac has treated mopping as a multi-tool job instead of a one-pad-fits-all chore.

The rest of the spec sheet is strong. Suction is rated at 30,000Pa via Mova’s Dynamic Suction Retention System. StepMaster 2.0 lets the robot climb thresholds up to 8cm — best-in-class, and a clear step beyond the V50 Ultra’s 60mm. Navigation pairs a retractable FlexScope DToF LiDAR with AI SmartSight 3D, which recognises more than 240 object types for intelligent obstacle avoidance.

Mopping hardware is two spinning pads running at 260rpm with 12N of downward pressure and 10.5mm of lift to keep carpets dry. The dock handles automatic refilling, emptying, mop washing and drying. Mop washing uses 100°C hot water with UV sterilisation, and the dust bag itself is dried automatically to prevent odours. DuoSolution adds two detergent reservoirs that are automatically dispensed according to room type — so the kitchen can get a degreasing solution while the living room gets something gentler.

Mova Mobius 60 vs Mova V50 Ultra Complete

Stacked against Mova’s own V50 Ultra Complete, the Mobius 60 moves things forward on three fronts: 30,000Pa vs 24,000Pa suction, 8cm vs 60mm threshold climbing, and the MopSwap multi-pad dock vs fixed pads. Suction is up 25%, climbing height is up by a third, and the mopping system is in a different league entirely.

If you already own the V50 Ultra Complete, the Mobius 60 is the upgrade that actually changes how the robot cleans — particularly in homes with mixed floor types where the specialised pads earn their keep. If you’re choosing between the two today, the Mobius 60 is the more capable machine, though the V50 Ultra Complete may see discounts now that its successor logic is clear.

Australian price and availability

The Mobius 60 is $1,999 AUD and available now in Australia from Domayne and au.mova.tech. Domayne lists it at $1,998 — a single dollar under RRP, which tells you how fresh this pricing is.

US precedent is worth keeping in mind. The Mobius 60 carried a US$1,599 MSRP and dropped to a US$1,099 launch promo back in March 2026 — a 31% cut within months of launch. MOVA discounts aggressively and early, which feeds directly into our verdict below. The Australian $1,999 sticker is unlikely to survive first contact with a sales event.

One ownership cost deserves a mention because nobody else is talking about it: replacement MopSwap pads cost $29 each, and there’s currently no AU editorial coverage or price tracking for this product at all. That’s the competitor gap — no one’s examining the long-term cost of the pad system. If you run all three pad types across a large home, factor replacements into your cost of ownership.

Where to buy in Australia

The Mobius 60 is available now at Domayne ($1,998) and direct from Mova AU ($1,999).

Our verdict

Wait for a deal. MopSwap is genuinely first-of-its-kind — a dock that matches the pad to the room is a real step forward, not a gimmick. The 8cm climbing, 30,000Pa suction and 100°C wash system back it up. But MOVA’s US history says the $1,999 AU sticker won’t hold. Buy at the first Australian promo and you’ll own the most innovative mopping system on the market at a fair price.
