It’s Released is Australia’s guide to new product launches. Every day, new products are announced around the world — but for Australian shoppers, the key details are often missing: what it costs here, when it launches locally, and whether it’s worth buying. We exist to close that gap. We track new products as they’re announced, translate each launch into terms that matter locally, and give you a straight answer on whether it deserves your attention.
What we cover
Our coverage focuses on the products Australians actually buy for their homes and everyday lives:
- Tech gadgets — headphones, wearables, phones, tablets and personal tech.
- Smart home — speakers, security cameras, lighting, hubs and connected devices.
- Kitchen & cooking — air fryers, coffee machines, cookware and benchtop appliances.
- Appliances — fridges, washers, dryers and the other big-ticket home essentials.

How we work
Every article on It’s Released follows the same process. We check each product against Australian retailers, so the prices we publish are real prices you’ll find at checkout — in AUD, GST included, never a US-dollar conversion. We note the date each price was checked, and we flag articles for a refresh when prices move. Where a product isn’t available in Australia yet, we say so clearly, and we separate what’s confirmed from what’s still a rumour. We don’t dress speculation up as fact.
Our verdicts
Each launch gets a straight verdict: worth it, wait for a deal, or skip. Our assessments are honest, independent takes on whether a product earns its price. A high price can be worth it; a cheap gadget can still be a skip. We weigh each product against what’s already on the Australian market and ask one simple question: should you spend your money on this? Sponsored coverage never influences our verdicts.
